Working and production processes
Your employees are complaining and you don’t have a clue? Maybe the quality of the air isn’t that good. Not (well) ventilated areas or the usage of chemicals during working processes influence the air quality negatively. To ensure the safety of the employees we recommend to investigate the risks of all working and production processes. When help is needed we can advise and coach during this process.
Even when the goods are placed inside your warehouse, the evaporation process still continues. This may cause elevated gas concentrations inside your warehouse. Especially when volume of the goods is high and ventilation in the warehouse is low. To make sure that employees don’t get exposed to dangerous concentrations of gases or vapors, we are able to conduct extended research with our measurement techniques.
Dangerous Goods (ADR)
Like the name mentions dangerous goods are a greater risk. Additional precautions need to be taken when handling with these goods. The evaporation process in containers will proceed during unloading and storage, what results in elevated gas concentrations in these locations. To ensure the safety of your employees we recommend to investigate the risks of dangerous goods (ADR).
To reach their destination ships may travel for months. Lots of fuel will be burned during these journeys. This process can cause elevated gas levels in ship’s holds. Furthermore ship cargos can evaporate during travelling what also may result in elevated gas levels. To ensure the safety of your employees we recommend to investigate the risks of working in ship’s holds.
Often tanks are filled with chemicals. Emptying tanks may leave residues of these chemicals behind. Gas concentrations will rise because of these residues. To ensure the safety of your employees we recommend to investigate the risks of working in/with tanks.
Prior investigation turned out that toxic gases are present during working procedures, but what is the main reason? We are able to find the root cause of your problem by measuring goods or even parts of goods. The outcome of the investigation will be reported extendedly, which offers you the possibility to provide your supplier feedback.
